Amazon's next-generation Kindle Fire HD tablets reportedly spotted in benchmark results After creating a lot of buzz with the original Kindle Fire HD tablets, Amazon seems to be getting ready to introduce its next generation tablets. The alleged next generation Kindle Fire HD tablets have now been spotted in benchmark results. An Italian publication, Webtrek has published GFXBench that reveal two devices - first code-named Amazon Apollo (KFAPWA) which is speculated to be a 7-inch tablet and another code-named Amazon Thor (KFTHWI) which is likely to be the 8.9-inch tablet. The benchmarks tests results show that the tablets will come equipped with Qualcomm's Adreno 330 graphics processor which hints that the next generation Kindle Fire HD tablet may be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor, which is in-line with earlier rumours.
