Pilots Share their experiences

""Commercial airplane pilots, what's the closest disaster you've averted while on a flight that the passengers had no idea about? How often do these things happen?"" This was a question in  AskReddit   open Forum, which received more than 500 comments.. Here are some best experiences from the page. 1.   ""LAX ATC botched a landing for us once. I was a passenger on a United Express jet coming in to Los Angeles in the evening. We were just about to touch down on the runway when all the lights in the cabin and AC went off, and simultaneously the engines outside roared. Suddenly we were vertical, shooting back into the air. Everyone shrieked and gasped. I was glued to my window and looked down and saw we hurdled over another plane that had been taxiing across where we were landing. We got into the air, went out over the ocean and began to turn around. The lights flickered back on and the AC returned. Then over the PA the captain expla...

Windows 10

Windows 10:OS gets Thumbs Up by reviewer's   Microsoft’s Windows 8 was an attempt to bring touch to computing, but it did little to please audiences. Microsoft went wrong with Windows 8/8.1, and the all-new Windows 10 shows how the company gracefully accepted the mistake and made the right amendments. The initial reviews of Windows 10 are out, and the new OS version seems like a winner already. Just like Windows 7 came as a saviour to take away the pain caused by Vista, looks like Windows 10 is here to save us all from Windows 8. It is free to upgrade staring July 29 for any PC running Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1. If you are planning to upgrade, then take a look at our  checklist to follow  just before you take the plunge. Windows 10 isn’t simply a reincarnation of Windows 7, but brings back the best from Windows 7 and 8 versions. To begin with, the Start Menu that users love is back. “Microsoft is keeping the Live Tiles it introduced in Windows 8, but it...

Bajrangi Bhaijaan fever in Pakistan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan fever in Pakistan The Bajrangi Bhaijaan fever has gripped audiences in Pakistan and thanks to the positive Indo-Pak message in the movie, the Salman Khan-starrer has received phenomenal response, with people thronging to watch the film even a week after its release. Theatre owners claim to have witnessed record number of people leaving cinema halls misty-eyed after watching the movie, about a Bajrangbali (Hanuman) devotee Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi's (played by Salman) journey from India to escort a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl back to her village. "I have been working in this cinema business for the last seven years but I never witnessed such a large number of people coming out of the cinema hall with tears in their eyes after every show of Bajrangi Bhaijaan," says Shahram Raza of Cine Star Cinema in Lahore. Raza, who works at the ticket counter, said people look very excited while buying tickets for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. "However, as th...

Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation

Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation: Film Review Thanks to a sharp script that springs a real surprise or two and a pace that never slackens, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation rates as the second-best of the numerous franchise titles of the summer, after Mad Max: Fury Road. Armed with an absorbing mystery plot that does more than just connect the dots between action set-pieces (the most outlandish of which is dispensed with in a Bond-like opener), writer-director Christopher McQuarrie maintains the uptick in M:I quality established by the last two entries, and should land this entry within the series' customary range of a half-billion bucks worldwide. Working with Tom Cruise for the fifth time (if you include his uncredited rewrite on the last M:I feature, Ghost Protocol), McQuarrie benefits dramatically from extending the IMF team's official ostracization to a point of total disenfranchisement from the American government; in an early scene, the CIA chief (Alec B...

Roy Review

This time i am sharing the best review I've ever read Roy Review Spider-Man fans, turn away as we butcher your favourite quote for a great cause. *Deep breath* With great hotness, comes great power. Like the power to stop the audience from yelling 'WTF' even as they witness something mind-numbing and stupid. Arjun Rampal spends two-and-half-hours proving this fallacy right in Roy. Roy opens showing filmmaker Kabir Grewal (Rampal) giving an interview to Cyrus Broacha about his new film (Kabir's, that is). He is in a black blazer, black pants, white shirt and a black fedora. Full props to the film's stylists for lavishing so much thought and attention to the wardrobe of a man who only has to keep his jawline unharmed in order to look hot enough to give ladies and gentlemen so inclined hot flushes in the peak of Delhi winters. Kabir quickly proceeds to do a series of extremely nonsensical things that would render an average man unemployable and un...

PK review

PK review: Aamir Khan in a never-seen-before avatar, another winner from Hirani Jo darr gaya, wo mandir gaya." It’s difficult to convince you of our impartiality with such a header, but this is where our job begins. In my defense, I b egin by telling you that PK is the most ‘different’ Aamir Khan film you have ever seen. Now, let’s start cracking the code. PK (Aamir Khan) is not his name. In fact, he has no name. His clan doesn’t believe in alienating people on their name, caste, creed, language or religion. Sounds like the preamble of our Constitution? Well, this is the essence of director Rajkumar Hirani ’s PK. And it is high on emotions and full of drama. Who is PK then? Well, he is a humanitarian, who lives in the hearts of millions. See, I am trying to be as secretive as possible about his distinctiveness. Let’s join threads from the scene all of you have seen in the promos. Of course, the transistor scene. So, here is a guy with unblinking eyes, fluttering ears a...
