Micromax Canvas 4 Plus now up for grabs at Rs 16,750

Micromax will launch a new smartphone called the Canvas 4 Plus, which is currently available online via e-commerce retailers for Rs 16,750. The official launch of the same is however yet to be announced.
The Android 4.4 KitKat OS powered Canvas 4 Plus will feature a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device gets is power from a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592) processor with 1GB of RAM and a Mali 450 GPU.
On the camera front, the company offers a 13-megapixel camera on the rear that comes with LED flash and is also equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage options offered is 16GB in-built storage which can be further expanded to 32GB via the microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 2000mAh battery, but the talk time and standby time details are still unknown.
To stay connected, the phone includes connectivity features such as 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, MicroUSB, proximity sensor, G-sensor and ambient light sensor.
The above mentioned specs for the Canvas 4 Plus are as seen on the e-commerce retailer site. But, a confirmation regarding the same will come only when the company rolls out the device for the market. The phone is being currently sold by two e-commerce retailers, Ebay and Infibeam. The Canvas 4 Plus is being sold at Rs 16,999 at Infibeam, but Ebay offers the same with a discounted price of Rs 16,750.
