OnePlus starts rolling out Android Oreo to OnePlus 5 as OxygenOS 5.0.1 update.

If you remember, OnePlus started rolling out Android Oreo update as OxygenOS 5.0 for the OnePlus 5 users last week. But, the company suspended the update soon after as users started complaining of some bugs - it is still not clear what was the exact problem. This did disappoint the OnePlus 5 users though. But now, it's time for the users to rejoice as OnePlus resumes the Oreo update for OnePlus 5 users, and this time as OxygenOS 5.0.1, as promised by the company.
OnePlus resumes Android Oreo roll out for OnePlus 5 users as OxygenOS 5.0.1 updateBack then, when the update was cancelled, OnePlus acknowledge the bugs and said, "Because of a bug on Oxygen 5.0, we have cancelled its global release. And we're preparing for Oxygen 5.0.1, the partial release will go alive soon." The Oxygen 5.0.1 update is now live for the OnePlus 5 users, and is rolling out in a phased manner -- this means that if you are a OnePlus 5 user and haven't received the update - hold on - as you may get it soon. "The build will be continuing to release here shortly. Remember this is a staged roll out, so it will take some time to get out to everyone," notes OnePlus in a blogpost.
Apart from the bug fixes, the new OxygenOS 5.0.1 comes with the same updates and features as the OxygenOS 5.0. "The build is now 5.0.1 and most of the changelog is the same, but we've added a few things to this new version," writes OnePlus. The two major changes that come with the OxygenOS 5.0.1 update are - bug fixes for third party camera application and fixed network issues for European operators.
Note that the new update isn't currently compatible with an unlocked bootloader, hence before you update your device you'll need to backup your data and then re-lock the device first. After re-locking, you will then be able to proceed with the update.
The other features that the new OxygenOS 5.0.1 update brings to the OnePlus include - new camera UI design, optimisations for photo quality and also added beauty effect for Portrait Mode. The update will also let you upload photos through Shot on OnePlus and optimizations for Shelf. The Gallery tab has got the "places" tab which will let you view photos on a map.
Other features that come with the new update include -- aded alarm calendar feature, added Parallel apps feature, new design for Lift up display, and added Adaptive model screen calibration, optimizations for Wi-Fi and also Battery Saver. The update comes along with the December Android security patch.

MS Dhoni’s return catch was big moment in the match: Kane Williamson New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson lauded his bowlers for drying up the runs during India’s chase in the second ODI here, terming Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s brilliant return catch by Tim Southee as a “big moment” in the match. When asked about how the bowlers and fielders responded while defending a low total, Williamson said: “Someone like MS Dhoni, he can finish matches when he is allowed to play his shots. He is the best in the world. That catch was big for us.” Williamson was happy with the manner his bowlers responded on a tricky surface and also gave an insight to how some adjustments led to the Indian skipper playing 37 dot balls. “On this kind of a surface (Kotla), scrapping was important. You needed to put the ball in areas where it’s tough to get away and try and build that pressure. It was an extremely good effort considering that the ball was damp due to dew factor...

Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation

Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation: Film Review Thanks to a sharp script that springs a real surprise or two and a pace that never slackens, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation rates as the second-best of the numerous franchise titles of the summer, after Mad Max: Fury Road. Armed with an absorbing mystery plot that does more than just connect the dots between action set-pieces (the most outlandish of which is dispensed with in a Bond-like opener), writer-director Christopher McQuarrie maintains the uptick in M:I quality established by the last two entries, and should land this entry within the series' customary range of a half-billion bucks worldwide. Working with Tom Cruise for the fifth time (if you include his uncredited rewrite on the last M:I feature, Ghost Protocol), McQuarrie benefits dramatically from extending the IMF team's official ostracization to a point of total disenfranchisement from the American government; in an early scene, the CIA chief (Alec B...
