The phone which came to retail stores in the third week of June this year at a price of Rs. Rs 5199, has dropped by about 7.6 per cent. This low-cost handset learns from the design of the premium and exciting Lumia range of smartphones from Nokia . It pushes the boundaries of bold coloured, better designed smartphones at an affordable price point. It has got a camera of 3.2 megapixels and offers a battery of 1200 mAh which offers 48 days standby time and 17 hours talk time on a single SIM. The Asha 501 comes with Nokia Xpress Browser pre-loaded, which compresses Internet data by up to 90 per cent.
