Nokia to launch Windows RT tablet in Sept, pictures leaked Microsoft has lost nearly $900 million on Surface RT tablets but that doesn’t seem to have deterred Nokia from launching its tablet with Windows RT operating system. (Windows RT is a version of Windows 8 for mobiles devices which use ARM architecture.) According to new leaked photos, Nokia is working on its own Windows RT tablet which could be launched in September. Chinese Web-forum Digiwo which put out pictures of a bright pink-red tablet. A green-blue coloured tablet is also likely to be launched, says the report. In terms of specs, Nokia’s tablet could come with a 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 10.1 inch screen with 1080p resolution, 32GB space, detachable keyboard and Micro HDMI & USB 3.0 port. Samsung smartwatch coming in September Samsung Electronics  plans to introduce a wristwatch in September that can make phone calls, play video games and send e-mails , potentially beating its archrival, Apple, to market with a piece of technology that moves mobile communications beyond the smartphone.  The watch, called  Samsung Galaxy Gear , would be shown off "around the time" of an electronics industry trade fair in Berlin that begins September 6, a person briefed on the matter said. Rolls Royce launches Wraith in India at Rs. 4.6 crore The company will be opening two new dealerships at Chandigarh and Ahmedabad, taking the total number to five. Ultra luxury car maker Rolls Royce today launched its ‘Wraith’ model with a price starting at Rs. 4.6 crore in India, as part of its expansion plans in the country. Rolls Royce, which currently sells its Phantom and Ghost models in the country, is also looking to expand its dealerships here. The company, which sold 3,542 cars globally last year, currently has dealerships at Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. “We believe there is immense potential in India market. In 2005 we started with one dealership. Rupee falls to record low, trading below 62.80 per dollar The rupee fell to a record low on Monday and looked poised for further losses, with a series of measures unveiled last week failing to stall its decline. The currency fell as far as 62.85 to the dollar, breaching the previous low of 62.03 hit on Friday. Some dealers are expecting further dollar selling by the RBI as well as other measures to prop up a currency that is down over 10 percent in 2013, making it the worst performer in emerging Asia. Traders seemed unconvinced about the efficacy of steps unveiled last week to contain the current account deficit at 3.7 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) during the current fiscal year, sharply lower than the record high 4.8 percent in the previous year. Amazon's next-generation Kindle Fire HD tablets reportedly spotted in benchmark results After creating a lot of buzz with the original Kindle Fire HD tablets, Amazon seems to be getting ready to introduce its next generation tablets. The alleged next generation Kindle Fire HD tablets have now been spotted in benchmark results. An Italian publication,  Webtrek  has published GFXBench that reveal two devices - first code-named  Amazon Apollo  (KFAPWA) which is speculated to be a 7-inch tablet and another code-named  Amazon Thor  (KFTHWI) which is likely to be the 8.9-inch tablet. The benchmarks tests results show that the tablets will come equipped with Qualcomm's Adreno 330 graphics processor which hints that the next generation Kindle Fire HD tablet may be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor, which is in-line with earlier rumours. Facebook is planning to roll out a service that will allow you to make online purchases through your mobile devices just by using your Facebook log-in details. AllThingsD  reported that the service would allow any online shopper to make purchases on partnering e-commerce mobile apps without entering billing information. The shopper however needs to provide credit card information to Facebook. The world’s largest social networking company will simplify online shopping for users. The users do not have to enter their credit card details each time and can shop with just their Facebook log-in details.
